Lunch with this Turmeric Carrot Ginger & Blood Orange sauce. I say this a million times to clients - but eat more warmed and cooked foods! Even when you make a salad like this - incorporate some cooked elements into it. Here I have warm pan roasted chickpeas in harissa and za’atar spices, roasted salmon + purple cauliflower, blanched green beans and my sauce has a heavy dose of ginger in it. Warmed and steamed foods + gentle spices really help the digestion to function at its best. Cold, frozen and excessive raw foods can slow down your metabolism and put out your “digestive fire” over time. ❤️
